
Plant Chicago is looking for up to four part-time interns to assist with projects related to our Circular Economy for Small Business Network this summer. A minimum commitment of 10 weeks is requested, but interns can choose to intern for a longer period of time if desired. The number of hours per week is flexible, with a minimum commitment of 8 hours per week required. Stipends are available, with exact amount to be determined once the duration and total hours of your internship are set.
Circular Economy Project Interns will support small food businesses in our network to benchmark, implement, and measure circular economy practices within their operations. In 2020, Circular Economy intern projects will focus on four specific areas: Circular Growing Media for Seed Starting, Waste Diversion, Circular Packaging Solutions, and Economic Impact of the Local Circular Economy.
