Our third summer of hosting young environmental stewards has come to an end. This year, we embarked on a new journey; an Urban Sustainability Youth Culinary Program! While our programs have always revolved around learning about our local food systems, this is the first time we take a deeper dive into how to prep and cook our food. Chaos continues! The deconstruction that began in our historic engine hall of the firehouse is continuing. The portions of the historic tin ceiling that were carefully removed to space for electrical conduit have (mostly) been replaced.
