In this Mending Workshop learn the basics of visible mending for knit garments. In this fun and interactive workshop you will get hands-on skills for mending your knit clothes. You'll learn darning techniques for repairing holes in knit garments (think sweaters and socks). Bring an item of clothing you'd like to repair and don't mind practicing on. Mending materials will be provided. Please come any time between 1PM and 4PM to participate in this mending workshop. Taught by Nandi Duszynski of BLISS JOY BULL.
Instructor Bio:
Nandi has been sewing for more than the better half of her life. She is a recovering perfectionist and tries to find the beauty in each stitch she makes. Nandi thinks clothing should last and if it doesn't she wants you to gain the skills to keep your favorite garments in constant rotation.
