Event Details
Day One (5/14 11AM-2PM) Introduction to mushroom cultivation for the home producer including the following topics: mushroom anatomy, biology, aseptic technique, equipment used for cultivation grain spawn and liquid culture. Attendees will make injection port lids and create grain spawn jars with prepared grain and liquid culture to take home.
Day Two (5/28 11AM-2PM) Covers the preparation of a bulk substrate, transfer of grain spawn to create a fruiting bag, discussion of fruiting chambers and Q+A.
