Guías Healing Series Community Workshop - Healing the Earth, Food, and Body

About this workshop:

This is an interactive workshop hosted by Plant Chicago, moderated by Guías, with conversations led by Elena Grossman from  the University of Illinois Chicago School of Public Health, Rock Evans from Plant Chicago, and Luisa Ibarra from Veggie Mijas Chicago Chapter. We will start the event with a virtual market to highlight small businesses. Followed by an introduction of speakers by Guías. All participants will receive a PDF worksheet to follow along with topics that will be discussed, questions, and activities. We will discuss current trends happening globally and locally around climate change, food sustainability, and emerging public health shifts. Each speaker will share their insights and recommendations on how we can be more conscious of the Earth, food and body connection, be better consumers and citizens of the Earth and learn how we can get involved at the local level.
