VOLUNTEERING
INTERNSHIPS
We’re always looking for helping hands on a variety of projects, from assisting with education programs and tending chickens to community outreach and farmers market help. We also offer corporate volunteer days for groups of up to 20 people*.

Volunteers must be 16 years of age or older in order to work with Plant Chicago.

*Due to COVID-19, Plant Chicago is not currently orienting new volunteers or hosting corporate volunteer days. Please check back for details.
An internship with Plant Chicago is a one-of-a-kind experience. In addition to working closely with our small staff and volunteers, our interns also complete a closed-loop project of their own design. Internships last 8–12 weeks. Travel stipends are provided and they may be completed for school credit.
