Plant Chicago is excited to announce that we are now accepting farm and food producer applications for the summer market season of the Back of the Yards Community Market at The Plant! We are looking for farms and food producers for our Saturday market, and would especially love to include more Chicago urban farms in our vendor lineup.
We had ten regular vendors and an average of 150 shoppers per market day during our inaugural 2015 summer season. Over our 2015/16 indoor season, our average number of shoppers increased to 350, and we are looking to add more produce and food vendors in 2016 to meet demands of our growing customer base.
Applications are due by close of business on Friday, April 1.
